Ameritas Enters into Network-Sharing Agreement with MetLife
Ameritas Classic and Classic/Plus dental networks have entered into another network-sharing arrangement with MetLife Insurance Company. This agreement will be effective starting July 1, 2024.
The agreement will add approximately 5,900 dental network access points for Ameritas policyholders and improve network utilization by 1-2%.
With the new arrangement comes several key details:
- There will not be changes to member ID cards except in states where regulatory requirements apply.
- New providers will be added to the provider online directory in the first week of July.
- Network360 will be updated with these providers in mid-July.
Agents may notify their downlines after May 13.
