To better serve Marketplace agents and brokers who are a part of or who serve consumers who are a part of a Spanish-speaking community, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has translated many key Marketplace agent/broker resources into Spanish. Check out these new resources for helpful information translated into Spanish:

Assurity now accepts electronic signatures for several post-issue forms and requests via DocuSign and Adobe Sign. Members using e-signatures to submit documents must also submit the Certificate of Completion from DocuSign or the Final Audit Report Adobe Acrobat Sign page for the signature to be accepted. Understanding Redetermination and Dual Eligible Beneficiaries In the past four years, enrollment in Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans (D-SNPs) has doubled to more than five million individuals. The D-SNPs are meant to meet the needs of people who are eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. D-SNPs are one of several plans within the Medicare Advantage program comprise the largest category both in enrollment and the number of plans offered. Due to the nature of D-SNPs, there are challenges for members, and their agents as well. A state of emergency was declared, impacting individuals in certain Washington counties. This declaration allows for a one-time Special Enrollment Period (SEP), in the event beneficiaries were unable to make an election during another qualifying election period.
