As we have passed the halfway mark into AEP, Anthem would like to say thank you for all of your efforts! There have been some longer than anticipated wait times when calling in for DSNP verification and Broker Support. Anthem is asking for your patience as one of their call centers was affected by the California wild fires and they had members of their Medicare team lose their homes and/or be displaced.

Anthem is back up and running again but as you can imagine there is a backlog. Please be patient or email your questions to [email protected].

Anthem is aware many of you are inquiring about application status. Many applications are pending because of being incomplete or having incorrect information. Please make sure when you submit the Medicare ID and date of birth are correct. 

CMS never uses the letters “S”, “L”, “O”, “I”, “B”, or “Z” when creating the MBI number.
