Medico has big news about their dental plans, including more commissions, state availability changes, and a cross-selling incentive.

Gold and Platinum plans = More commissions

Beginning Jan. 1, 2023, you will receive larger commissions — including first-year commissions — when you sell Medico Gold and Platinum Dental plans. Visit the Commissions/Incentives tab on the Medico Information Center (MIC) to access your updated commission schedules.

DVH plans no longer available in select states

Also beginning Jan. 1, 2023, Medico’s Dental, Vision, and Hearing (DVH) plans will no longer be available for new business in Delaware, Idaho, Maine, Montana, North Dakota, Rhode Island, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. And as of Feb. 5, 2023, DVH plans will no longer be available for new business in South Dakota. Customers with dental policies in force in these states will not be impacted.

Cross-selling incentive for Dental, Hospital Indemnity, and First Diagnosis Cancer policies

From Jan. 1, 2023, through March 31, 2023, you can qualify for the incentive with any combination of five applications submitted and taken to receive:

• 5–14 applications: $50 for each app 
• 15+ applications: $75 for each app
