Wellcare: Increased VBE/HRA Payments for 2023 Annual Enrollment Period

Looking to earn more this AEP? Wellcare will be offering an INCREASE in the payment incentive for Value-Based Enrollment (VBE) for Health Risk Assessment (HRA) completions! Please see below for new payment structure and start completing HRAs today!

Summary of Changes

Beginning with the 2023 Annual Enrollment Period (AEP), administrative payments can be earned for successfully completing HRAs* following submission of an enrollment application in Ascend or Sunfire:

• $225 administrative payment for eligible DSNP/CSNP enrollments.
• $75 administrative payment for eligible MA/MAPD enrollments.

*GREAT NEWS! If you have already submitted an HRA for a 2023 enrollment, you will also receive this increased payment!

• If completing an application outside of Ascend or Sunfire, you can utilize the Ascend standalone VBE link:

• Please remember that, in order to receive payment, you must submit a fully complete HRA for a completed enrollment application and select Submit which will be followed by an HRA confirmation number.
