Important: Wellcare Dual Liberty (HMO D-SNP) Plan Enrollment Restrictions in Orange County 

On January 10, brokers will have access to Health Alliance's 2023 marketing materials for Medicare Advantage customers who are aging into Medicare.

As a reminder, Banner Medicare has shifted to a new paper enrollment form to comply with new requirements from Medicare. Only the new form may be used for enrollment signature dates beginning in January. 

Following a review of their product portfolio, Americo has decided to discontinue the sale of Americo Financial Life (AFL) and Great Southern Life (GSL) Medicare Supplement products in all states, effective January 13, 2023. Applications must be dated and received by the close of business Friday, January 13, 2023.

Here are a few updates to look out for:

Starting January 1, 2023, Health Net Life Insurance Company will no longer offer its Individual & Family Ambetter PPO and EPO plans through Covered California. In addition, Health Net of California will no longer offer its Ambetter HSP plans through Covered California – Health Net of California will remain on the exchange and will offer replacement plans as applicable.
