Through determined efforts on both sides, BlueCross BlueShield of Texas has reached an agreement with Memorial Hermann. They’re pleased to let you know that Memorial Hermann hospitals, doctors, and health care professionals are rejoining the following networks:
- Blue Choice PPOSM
- Blue EssentialsSM
- BlueHPNSM
- Medicare Advantage PPOSM
- Medicare Advantage HMOSM
The agreements will be retroactive to March 1, 2022. Any claims processed as out-of-network on or after March 1 will be reprocessed at the in-network benefit level.
In addition, Memorial Hermann is joining our Blue Advantage HMOSM network later this year – expanding access for many of their members.
BlueCross BlueShield of Texas's members are their priority. They weren’t willing to compromise their best interests. So, the agreements with Memorial Hermann are fair and reasonable. They give our members access to Memorial Hermann doctors and hospitals while providing Memorial Hermann with fair prices.
