UnitedHealthcare is making an enhancement to the CLICO eMarket quoting and apply tool that will help improve functionality and make navigating the Signature process easier.

The NAIC recently proposed the adoption of a revised Annuity Suitability Model Law. Separately, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) released a proposed rule package in May 2018, which included Regulation Best Interest (Reg BI). The SEC finalized Reg BI in June 2019. The final Reg BI establishes a best-interest standard of conduct for broker-dealers beyond the existing suitability obligation that applies to federally registered variable annuities.

As Molina Healthcare prepares for OEP 2024, Molina Marketplace will be undergoing a contracting blackout period from Friday, June 16 through Monday, August 14. All contracting functions will re-open on Tuesday, August 15.

After further discussion with Community Health Systems (CHS) in Alabama, Cigna has agreed to extend the network termination effective date from May 15, 2023, to August 1, 2023.
