Cigna's Healthy Today Cards Are Making Strides

Cigna is seeing significant use of their new Cigna Healthy Today^TM card after a successful launch on January 1.

All customers enrolled in a Cigna 2023 MA plan received the Cigna Healthy Today^TM card. This pre-activated Visa debit card is loaded with benefits specific to the customer’s plan, along with any incentive rewards the customer earns throughout the year. 

• The cards are ready to use as of January 1, 2023.
• Funds were preloaded with the customer’s 2023 benefits/allowances.
• Incentive rewards will be added as the customer unlocks them. Maximum reward total for 2023: HMO - $100 and PPO - $200.
• Cigna Healthy Today^TM cards can be used at 62,000 in-network retailers in person.
• Customers can check balances online or by calling the customer service number on the back of their Cigna Healthy Today^TM card.
• If your customer experiences a long wait time or they would prefer to self-service, they can access their account through the CignaHealthyToday.com website through their myCigna portal, or they can request a call back from customer service.

To date, Cigna has mailed out over 610,000 cards to their 2023 effective date members. Over 32,000 members have been able to successfully utilize their cards, resulting in over 54,000 purchases made! Cigna is so excited to be able to offer this amazing new benefit to all their Cigna Medicare Advantage members.
