The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) have announced the 2023 Medicare Stars Quality Ratings (Stars) for Medicare Advantage plans, and Cigna is excited to share that they have a 5-Star plan* for 2023 in the following states:

Bright Health Group, Inc. (“Bright Health”) (NYSE: BHG) today announced its decision to further focus its business on its Fully Aligned Care Model and will no longer offer Individual and Family Plans through Bright HealthCare, or Medicare Advantage products outside of California and Florida in 2023. In addition, Bright Health announced raising $175 million of committed convertible preferred equity capital that is expected to close in the coming weeks and take the business through profitability.

Cigna has released updated Rules of Engagement as of October 1, 2022, that includes important information regarding new CMS regulations.

South Carolina agents, Humana understands there has been great concern among agents and members in the Upstate of South Carolina that AnMed health system would not be in-network for Humana’s Medicare Advantage plans as of January 1, 2023. Humana is pleased to announce that they have come to terms with AnMed to keep the system in Humana’s Medicare Advantage networks for the upcoming plan year.
