Aetna Update: Final Expense processing and administration

We previously communicated that we were made aware of a security incident impacting a third-party vendor who administers Final Expense whole life insurance for Aetna Senior Supplemental Insurance. As a reminder, Aetna systems were not impacted by this incident.

Good news! Our representatives are ready to support you and our members with administrative changes and transactions.

Here's an update on the administration and processing of our Final Expense whole life insurance product:

New business

  • Pending applications: For the most up to date information, go to the agent side of AetnaSeniorProducts.com under Enrollment tracker
  • Website data: Data on AetnaSeniorProducts.com for Final Expense new business will be updated as applications are being processed and transactions are being completed.
  • Aetna Quote & Enroll (AQE): Continue to use Aetna Quote & Enroll to submit applications for all products.

Commissions

  • New business commissions: Commissions will be paid on processed applications upon premium draft. For now, commissions for business issued on or after June 15th will return to our previous schedule of Wednesday and Saturday disbursements
  • Commission statements will be available on the agent side of AetnaSeniorProducts.com under My Reports/Commission Dashboard/Medicare Supplement and Health
