Rates Increasing on AssetShield and GuaranteeShield, Effective November 2
American Equity is pleased to announce that rates are increasing on their flagship AssetShield fixed index annuity series, on the fixed interest strategy, and many index-linked crediting strategies. In addition, rates are increasing for all GuaranteeShield fixed annuities. Rate increases are effective today, November 2, 2022.

Contracts issued November 2 and after will receive the new rates. There will not be rate adjustments made to previously issued contracts. No exceptions.
