Cigna has a lot of great news right now, including increased renewal compensation payments in Arizona, new and improved Courage plans for veterans, and their HRA program!
Increased Renewal Compensation Payments in Arizona
Cigna’s annual renewal compensation for renewing Arizona Medicare Advantage customers is increasing! Beginning on January 1, 2023, agents and agencies will receive more when their 2022 current Arizona Medicare Advantage customers renew with Cigna Medicare Advantage.

Cigna's New & Improved Courage Plans for Veterans
Cigna's new Courage plans will give you a competitive advantage in the market this AEP! These new and improved plans were designed with Veterans and their spouses in mind. For 2023, there are 19 MA-only HMO and PPO plans in 14 states with over 2.5 million Veterans in the service area. That’s 5 new states and 88 new counties for 2023.
All the Courage plans are $0 premium, with Part-B giveback available on most plans. The plans have $0 PCP, mental health, and telehealth visits. They also include comprehensive dental benefits, as well as hearing, vision, and enhanced OTC benefits. TRICARE for Life (TFL) members on any Cigna MAPD will have coordination of prescription drug benefits.
The markets below have additional new and unique benefits for 2023:
- New York, Ohio, and Texas: Allowance for the care and support of a Veteran's service animal.
- Pennsylvania: Allowance for home and bathroom modification.
