Anthem: MAPD 2023 Enrollment Kits Without the "Newly Updated" Orange Banner Should Be Discarded and Will Be Replaced

With AEP sales about to begin, and out of an abundance of caution, Anthem has decided to replace their paper MAPD enrollment kits.

They have discovered an incorrect drug list was included in some of their paper MAPD 2023 Enrollment Kits. While the incorrect information is on limited pages in the drug list, to ensure a simple process for agents, they are replacing MAPD printed kits. Please stop distribution and discard paper 2023 MAPD kits.

MA-only and PDP 2023 kits remain accurate. All their MAPD 2023 formularies have been and continue to be accurate. Moreover, Anthem recognizes that most agents use their online drug list resources and our online enrollment tools, and those remain accurate.

Replacements for kits you've already received, or have recently ordered, are being printed for expedited delivery. You DO NOT need to reorder. These kits will be shipped to you automatically.

Resources such as mProducer, Online Store, Medicare.gov, SunFire and Connecture can continue to be used with confidence as you help your clients make important plan selections.
