Important Contract Changes

Pursuant to your current Agency/Agent contract with Health Alliance this notice is to inform you of a contract change.  This notice applies to all Medicare Advantage and Commercial contracts.

Health Alliance™ is pleased to announce an enhancement to our contracts. Our goal is to improve clarity, align with industry standards, and simplify compliance requirements. This enables you to focus on what matters most, serving your clients.

All Agencies and Agents will receive new contracts, which must be signed prior to December 31, 2024 to continue your partnership with Health Alliance.

The contracts will be emailed to you via DocuSign beginning August 1, 2024. Key Modifications include:

• Allowing Agent of Record changes to include the transfer of commission to the new agent for Health Alliance groups effective the first of the following month following approval of the change.
• Allowing a former Health Alliance employees to obtain an Agent of Record on existing Health Alliance groups and members in the 12 months after leaving the company at the discretion of Health Alliance.
• More detailed language regarding broker conduct in alignment with our company’s behavior standards and expectations.
• Other minor edits to align with industry standards.

Please note The CMS Field Marketing Organization guidelines for 2025 have been stayed by a Federal Circuit Judge. The 2025 CMS guidelines are likely to be determined by court action.
