UnitedHealthcare and Prisma Health Reach a New Agreement in SC

After months of negotiation, UnitedHealthcare and Prisma Health have compromised on a multi-year contract to restore access to Prisma network providers for clients with UnitedHealthcare policies. 

Effective immediately, over half a million UnitedHealthcare clients, including those enrolled in employer-sponsored commercial, Medicare Advantage, or Group Retiree plans, can receive care from Prisma physicians, hospitals and practices. 

With this agreement, UnitedHealthcare policyholders gain access to Prisma Health's 18 hospitals, 300 practice sites, and 5,400 physicians now in-network.
