Update On The Mutual Trust Life Insurance Company & Pan-American Life Insurance Company Merger

It was previously announced that Mutual Trust Life Insurance Company will be merged into Pan-American Life Insurance Company (PALIC) as a fully integrated division named Mutual Trust Life Solutions. The merger will be completed, as planned, on December 31, 2022.

Combining the two life insurance companies will create a larger organization with greater financial strength, a sterling ratings profile, and enhanced growth opportunities.

When the merger is complete, products currently marketed by Mutual Trust Life Insurance Company will be marketed by Mutual Trust Life Solutions and will be issued on Pan-American Life Insurance Company paper. The product features and availability will not change. Additionally, the merger will not impact the terms or coverage of in-force policies.

Your agent agreement will automatically be reassigned from Mutual Trust to PALIC. Later this month, you will receive a letter by mail documenting the reassignment. Your PALIC contract will provide you with access to all PALIC products, including those offered through Pan-American Life’s US Group division.
