New! Wellcare Spendables Card Coming in 2024

Select 2024 Wellcare plans will now include the Wellcare Spendables Card. This program replaces the previous Flex Card benefit program and will be offered across all states.

Benefit Highlights

• Members will receive a pre-loaded allowance on a Visa debit card that they may use towards their over-the-counter (OTC) benefit on health products at over 55,000 participating retailers such as Walmart, CVS, Kroger, Publix and more.
• D-SNP members may use their monthly allowance for healthy foods, pay-at-pump gas or for assistance with utilities and rent.
• Select D-SNP and other plans will also include cost share assistance on out-of-pocket expenses for dental, vision or hearing benefits.
• Depending on the member's plan, benefits will be managed as a combined allowance from one single purse (all D-SNP plans and select additional plans), or managed as a separate allowance from two purses that members may choose to use toward their plan's eligible benefits.
