Ascension AOR Update!

A very important Agent of Record update from Ascension is below: 

Effective immediately, the Agent of Record will be locked in for the policy year (from January and all the way through to December). All agents will be required to have the correct appointment documents fully completed, be properly licensed, contracted, appointed, and certified to be designated as an Agent of Record.
 
Special Enrollment Period enrollments will now have the agent listed on the very first active enrollment period. For example, if the Special Enrollment Period coverage is effective as of the first of May, 2024, the agent listed will be permanently locked in for the remainder of the plan year (from May and all the way through to through December). 
 
There may be other changes, and they will be at the discretion of US Health and Life Insurance Company.
 
Please make a note of the fact that the US Health and Life Insurance Company requires members to provide permission for agents to change their records:

• US Health and Life Insurance Company is reserving the right to request proof of the member's (required) authorization to make any changes to an Agent of Record designation.
• If the appropriate and correct documentation is not provided by the agent, US Health and Life Insurance Company is reserving the right to make the decision to terminate an agent's contract immediately, as is according to Section 9 found within the Agent Agreement.
