Humana's Updates to their 2023 and 2024 for Individual Products

Humana informs us of updates have been made to their 2023 and 2024 Producer Partnership Plan (PPP) for Individual Medicare, Medicare Supplement, Dental and Vision Products.   

Humana’s Updates to their 2023 PPP:

• Changes were made to the Section titled “Medicare Supplement Commission Schedule - Applicable to Standard Core and Value Products Only” as follows: 
• Updated commissions for the state of Nevada due to regulatory requirements.  These changes are applicable to policies with an effective date on or after July 1, 2023 (see pages 27-31).
• Changes were made to the Section titled “Medicare Supplement Commission Schedule - Applicable to Achieve Products Only” as follows: 
• Updated commissions for the state of Indiana due to regulatory requirements.  These changes are applicable to policies with an effective date on or after March 1, 2023 (see page 45).
• Updated commissions for the state of California.  These changes are applicable to policies with an effective date on or after November 1, 2023 (see page 52).
• A new note (Note 12) has been added to “Notes on Medicare Supplement Producer Commission” clarifying the definition of OE/OEP and GI (see page 59).

Humana’s Updates to their 2024 PPP:

• Changes were made to the Section titled “Medicare Supplement Commission Schedule - Applicable to Standard Core and Value Products Only” as follows: 
• Updated commissions for the state of California.  These changes are applicable to policies with an effective date on or after January 1, 2024 (see pages 18-22).
• Changes were made to the Section titled “Medicare Supplement Commission Schedule - Applicable to Achieve Products Only” as follows: 
• Updated commissions for the state of California.  These changes are applicable to policies with an effective date on or after January 1, 2024 (see page 24).
• A new note (Note 12) has been added to “Notes on Medicare Supplement Producer Commission” clarifying the definition of OE/OEP and GI (see page 32).
