As of Friday, February 2nd, 2024, Aetna's Protection Series will be gaining a new offering - Recovery Care plans will be offered in the state of Virginia. In addition to the plans becoming available, on Friday, February 2nd, 2024, you can begin the process of submitting applications through Aetna's online service, Quote & Enroll.
Sales materials will now be available! Go to the agent side of Aetna's seniors website (at AetnaSeniorProducts.com) and then click on "Products," and then on "Order Supplies." You can browse the available materials and order what you need.
Freedom to Choose
Your clients will now have the option to plan for the proper level of care and comfort they deserve in the case of an accident or illness that requires assistance and care during recovery.
Plan benefits include the following:
- The newly available Recovery Care plan is issuable from ages 50 to 89.
- The Recovery Care plan will pay indemnity benefits of up to the following:
- $400 daily nursing facility costs, including assisted living and bed reservations (of up to 360 days)
- $1200 weekly optional home care rider (of up to 52 weeks)
- The Recovery Care plan will pay benefits directly to the insurer, unless it's been assigned to the provider.
